Hey 2/5, this post, will not be pleasant, I'm afraid. You all have known that Ms Ong will not be teaching us anymore, sooner or later. & Pei Yi had agreed that we should wrote a letter to the HOD to tell them about this. & yes, we've done it. Also, since I think everyone should know about this, I decided that I'd post the sample of the letter here, & please, this would be the final copy that we're giving the HOD. I'm afraid, we can only hope & pray that the consider our suggestions & so on.

Sample of the letter, or the whole of the letter :

Dear HOD of English

2/5 is writing this letter to request that you would not remove Ms Ong as our English teacher. We plead that you do not do this as adapting to a new teacher’s teaching regime is rather difficult and time consuming.

Ms Ong has been teaching 2/5 for about 2 months now and we find that she’s really an excellent teacher. Also, her classes are very entertaining and they are not dry and dull, like the usual English lessons.

When she broke the news to the class, we were very disappointed and sad, and everyone let out a wail of complaint. English is one of the most important subjects in our O Levels and we think that the changing of teachers would mean more time to adapt to their teaching regime. This would mean lesser time for us to learn more. Even though in Secondary 1 we have learn the basics, it is still not enough.

We have understood that there might be reasons of why you are doing such things but we cannot stress the fact enough that we do not like it and we would rather have her continue to teach our class. We would be most thankful if you allowed her to teach us until she left the school.
